NIBAF Pakistan Conducts RAAST Integration and Regulatory Compliance Training

NIBAF Pakistan successfully conducted a specialized two-day training program on RAAST Integration Governance, Straight Through Processing (STP), and Regulatory Compliance from December 22 to 23, 2025, at its Karachi Campus. The face-to-face (F2F) program brought together officers from commercial banks and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), highlighting the growing focus on strengthening Pakistan’s digital payment ecosystem.

The training was delivered by a panel of experienced trainers and was designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of RAAST integration frameworks, governance structures, and compliance requirements. Emphasis was placed on operational readiness, risk management, and regulatory alignment to ensure seamless adoption and management of RAAST-based payment processes within financial institutions.

Participants were also trained on Straight Through Processing (STP), with discussions centered on improving transaction efficiency, reducing manual intervention, and enhancing accuracy in digital payment operations. The sessions explored practical implementation challenges and best practices, enabling participants to better align internal systems with national payment infrastructure standards.

Through interactive discussions and real-world case insights, the program strengthened participants’ capacity to implement RAAST solutions in line with SBP regulations. The initiative reflects NIBAF Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to capacity building in the financial sector and supporting the transition towards secure, efficient, and compliant digital payment systems across the country.
