HBL And ICAP Partner To Provide Exclusive Banking Benefits To Members And Employees

HBL and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) have entered into a partnership agreement aimed at providing tailored banking solutions and exclusive financial benefits to ICAP members and employees. The agreement brings together one of Pakistan’s major banking institutions and the country’s professional accounting body to develop banking offerings designed around the financial requirements of ICAP’s members and workforce.

The partnership agreement was formalized during a signing ceremony attended by senior representatives from both organizations. From HBL, the ceremony was attended by Aamir Irshad, Head Corporate, Commercial & Investment Banking, Muhammad Farhanullah Khan, Chief Compliance Officer, Rauf Ali Jan, Chief Internal Auditor, and Majid Abid Aziz, Head Institutional Sales & Employee Banking, along with other senior officials of the bank. Their participation highlighted the involvement of multiple areas of HBL in the institutional partnership and its planned banking services for the ICAP community.

ICAP was represented at the ceremony by Sajid Kapadia, Council Member and Chairman MARCOM, Omair Jamal, COO and Secretary ICAP, and Fahad Ahmed Hashmi, Deputy Director Outreach & Communication. The representatives from ICAP joined the HBL delegation for the formalization of the agreement, which is intended to establish a framework for providing banking services and financial benefits to the institute’s members and employees.

The agreement was signed by Majid Abid Aziz on behalf of HBL and Sajid Kapadia on behalf of ICAP. Through the partnership, HBL will provide banking solutions tailored to the requirements of ICAP members and employees, along with exclusive financial benefits available under the agreement. The initiative is focused on creating a more relevant banking experience for a professional community whose financial needs can include personal banking, employee-related services and other banking requirements.

For HBL, the partnership forms part of its continued efforts to strengthen relationships with institutions and professional communities across Pakistan. By working directly with established organizations, the bank can develop banking arrangements around the requirements of specific groups rather than relying solely on general retail offerings. The agreement with ICAP adds another institutional relationship to HBL’s efforts to provide targeted financial services to professional communities.

The partnership also provides ICAP members and employees with access to banking solutions arranged specifically through the agreement. While the announcement does not disclose the detailed terms or individual financial products included in the package, it confirms that the arrangement will include tailored banking solutions and exclusive financial benefits for the eligible ICAP community.

The collaboration between HBL and ICAP reflects the broader role of institutional partnerships in connecting banks with professional organizations and their members. Such arrangements can provide organizations with structured access to financial services while allowing banks to develop relationships with established professional communities. For ICAP, the agreement provides a dedicated banking partnership for its members and employees, while HBL gains an opportunity to deepen its engagement with Pakistan’s accounting and professional services community.
