NIBAF Pakistan is set to organise a specialised executive masterclass focused on artificial intelligence strategy and intelligent automation for financial leaders at its Karachi Campus on October 7, 2026. The one-day programme is designed for professionals working in the financial sector who want to develop a stronger understanding of how artificial intelligence can be applied to financial analytics, automation and decision-making. The programme will focus on practical applications of emerging AI technologies within financial institutions and is aimed at executives and professionals seeking to incorporate AI capabilities into their organisational processes.
The masterclass, titled “AI Strategy and Intelligent Automation for Financial Leaders,” will take place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the NIBAF Pakistan Karachi Campus. The training investment has been set at PKR 18,000 plus applicable tax per participant. NIBAF Pakistan has scheduled the programme as an executive-level learning opportunity, with the content centred on the use of AI technologies and automation in financial environments. Participants are expected to gain exposure to approaches that can support technology adoption and the use of data in financial decision-making.
The session will be facilitated by Sajid Majeed, an AI and financial analytics expert. Majeed is described as a technology trainer specialising in financial analytics using artificial intelligence, Agentic AI architectures, large language models (LLMs) and application programming interface (API) integrations. His technical background also includes Python and data analytics, with a focus on practical AI adoption across financial institutions. The programme is expected to draw on these areas to examine how financial organisations can use emerging technologies for automation and data-driven processes.
A key focus of the masterclass will be AI strategy, an area that has become increasingly relevant for financial institutions as banks and other organisations evaluate ways to incorporate artificial intelligence into their operations. Rather than treating AI only as a technology deployment, the programme is intended to examine its application from a strategic perspective. Financial leaders can use AI-based tools and automated workflows for a range of analytical and operational activities, while data analytics can provide additional support for decisions involving business performance, customer services and institutional processes.
The programme will also cover intelligent automation and Agentic AI architectures. These technologies are increasingly being explored for applications where systems can perform multiple connected tasks with limited manual intervention. In financial environments, automation can help organisations manage repetitive processes and use information more efficiently. The inclusion of Agentic AI in the masterclass indicates a focus on emerging AI architectures alongside more established areas such as financial analytics and large language models.
Large language models and API integrations will also form part of the programme’s technical focus. LLMs can be integrated into digital workflows and applications, while APIs can allow different software systems and services to communicate with one another. For financial institutions, understanding these technologies can help technology and business teams assess how AI capabilities could be incorporated into existing systems. The masterclass is therefore positioned around both strategic considerations and technical areas relevant to the adoption of AI in financial organisations.
NIBAF Pakistan has set October 6, 2026, as the last date for nominations and registrations for the masterclass. Interested participants can submit their nominations through the registration and marketing contacts provided by the institution. Registration is available through registration@nibaf.gov.pk and marketing@nibaf.org.pk, while participants can also contact the organisers by phone at 021-35277511 and 051-9269850. A WhatsApp contact at 0303-0652963 has also been provided for registration-related communication.
The upcoming Karachi programme reflects the growing attention being given to artificial intelligence, financial analytics and automation within the financial sector. As institutions assess how emerging technologies can be integrated into business processes, training programmes focused on practical implementation can provide financial professionals with an opportunity to understand the technology and its potential applications. Through the October 7 masterclass, NIBAF Pakistan is bringing together AI strategy, intelligent automation, data analytics, Agentic AI, LLMs and API integrations in a programme specifically designed for financial leaders.
