Mobilink Bank Wins Best Digital Banking Award for Fourth Consecutive Year

Mobilink Bank has secured the Best Digital Banking Services of the Year 2025 award for the fourth consecutive year at the CFA Society Pakistan’s 23rd Annual Excellence Awards, reinforcing its position in Pakistan’s digital financial services sector. The recognition highlights the bank’s continued efforts to expand technology-driven banking services, improve customer access and support the adoption of digital financial solutions across the country. In a separate achievement, the bank also received the Gender Diversity Award FY 2026 in the Non-Banking Financial Institutions category, acknowledging its initiatives to promote workplace diversity, women’s empowerment and inclusive economic participation. The two awards recognise different aspects of the bank’s operations, covering both its digital banking services and its approach to building a more inclusive financial institution.

The consecutive digital banking recognition reflects Mobilink Bank’s continued focus on expanding its digital capabilities and reaching customers through technology-enabled financial services. Together with JazzCash, the bank serves more than 67 million registered users through a nationwide network of over 2.3 million merchants and agents. This extensive distribution network provides access to digital financial services across different parts of Pakistan, including communities where traditional banking infrastructure may have limited reach. The combination of digital platforms and physical merchant and agent networks allows customers to access a range of financial services through multiple channels. The bank’s growing digital ecosystem also supports broader efforts to increase the use of formal financial services and improve access to transactions, payments and other banking facilities.

Mobilink Bank has continued to expand its digital product portfolio through initiatives that include digital Islamic banking services and its Dost application. These offerings form part of its efforts to address changing customer requirements and provide financial solutions through digital channels. The expansion of digital Islamic banking also creates additional options for customers seeking Shariah-compliant financial services through technology-based platforms. Meanwhile, the Dost app represents another component of the bank’s digital services strategy, supporting its efforts to make banking more accessible and convenient. As financial institutions increasingly compete through digital products, customer experience and technology infrastructure, the bank’s continued investment in these areas remains central to its positioning within Pakistan’s evolving financial services market.

Alongside its digital banking developments, the bank’s Gender Diversity Award highlights its efforts to improve women’s representation in leadership and expand access to financial services for female customers and entrepreneurs. Women account for 44% of Mobilink Bank’s senior leadership, reflecting their representation in key management and decision-making positions. The bank has also reported lending to women exceeding PKR163 billion, demonstrating the scale of financing extended to female borrowers. Access to credit remains an important factor in supporting women’s participation in business, entrepreneurship and household economic activities. By combining internal workplace diversity initiatives with lending programmes, the bank is addressing women’s inclusion through both employment opportunities and access to financial resources.

The latest awards recognise Mobilink Bank’s activities across digital financial services and financial inclusion, two areas that remain important to the development of Pakistan’s banking sector. Its customer base and merchant network, together with its digital product offerings, provide a platform for expanding access to formal financial services. At the same time, women’s representation in senior leadership and lending activity indicate the bank’s focus on extending inclusion beyond customer acquisition to participation in the wider financial system. The fourth consecutive digital banking award and the separate gender diversity recognition place further attention on the bank’s technology and inclusion initiatives as Pakistan’s financial institutions continue to develop digital channels, diversify their products and broaden access to banking services.
