1LINK has officially welcomed Element Payment Solutions (EPS) as a newly onboarded Aggregator on its 1BILL platform, with Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) designated as the settlement bank. The partnership is poised to enhance digital payment capabilities in Pakistan, providing customers of EPS sub-billers with seamless, secure, and efficient transaction options through the 1BILL platform.

The signing ceremony was attended by prominent executives from all participating organizations. Present at the event were Basma Sultan Ahmed, CEO of Element Payment Solutions, Najeeb Agrawalla, CEO of 1LINK, and Atta Ur Rehman, Chief Business Officer of MMBL, along with key members of their respective teams. The event highlighted the collaborative effort to expand the digital payment ecosystem in Pakistan by connecting service providers with a robust nationwide payment network.

Through this collaboration, customers of sub-billers associated with Element Payment Solutions will now be able to make payments across a variety of services using 1BILL. This integration leverages 1LINK’s advanced infrastructure to ensure that transactions are processed securely, efficiently, and in real-time. By facilitating a smoother transaction experience, the partnership is expected to encourage wider adoption of digital payment channels in both urban and rural areas.

Mobilink Microfinance Bank, as the settlement bank, plays a crucial role in ensuring that all transactions processed through EPS via 1BILL are settled accurately and promptly. MMBL’s involvement adds a layer of operational reliability, providing confidence to both EPS sub-billers and end-users while reinforcing the integrity of the payment ecosystem.

1LINK’s CEO, Najeeb Agrawalla, emphasized that the onboarding of EPS reflects 1LINK’s commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s financial infrastructure. He noted that partnerships with innovative payment aggregators help create a more inclusive, accessible, and interoperable digital payments ecosystem. By connecting multiple sub-billers through a single platform, 1BILL simplifies financial operations for businesses and consumers alike.

EPS CEO Basma Sultan Ahmed highlighted that the integration with 1BILL enables the company to expand its reach and offer customers a convenient payment interface. She stated that this collaboration aligns with EPS’s strategy to provide technologically advanced solutions while improving service delivery for its sub-billers.

Atta Ur Rehman of MMBL noted that the bank’s role as the settlement institution ensures seamless end-to-end processing, fostering trust and reliability in the digital payment network. He added that the partnership contributes to the bank’s mission of supporting financial inclusion and facilitating digital transactions across the country.

This move is seen as part of a broader trend in Pakistan to modernize financial services and encourage cashless transactions. By integrating EPS into 1BILL, 1LINK continues to demonstrate its leadership in providing interoperable payment solutions, bridging gaps between financial institutions, aggregators, and end-users. The collaboration is expected to accelerate digital payment adoption, improve transaction efficiency, and strengthen Pakistan’s fintech ecosystem.
