ABHI Microfinance Bank, TouchPoint Sign MOU to Expand ATM and Digital Banking Infrastructure Nationwide

ABHI Microfinance Bank Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TouchPoint (Private) Limited to strengthen banking infrastructure and expand customer access to essential financial services across Pakistan. The collaboration is aimed at reinforcing service delivery channels and improving operational continuity for the bank’s growing customer base.

Under the agreement, TouchPoint will provide ABHI Microfinance Bank with a range of infrastructure and managed services, including the deployment and maintenance of Automated Teller Machines, Cash Deposit Machines, and card printing solutions. The partnership also covers comprehensive managed services designed to ensure system performance, reliability and uninterrupted operations across the bank’s service network.

The initiative represents a focused move toward expanding physical and digital access points for customers, particularly in segments served by microfinance institutions. By upgrading and scaling its ATM and CDM footprint, ABHI Microfinance Bank seeks to enhance transaction convenience and reduce reliance on branch-based services. Cash Deposit Machines, in particular, are expected to streamline deposit processes and improve liquidity access for small businesses and individual customers operating in cash-driven environments.

Card printing solutions form another critical component of the collaboration. Efficient card issuance infrastructure enables faster onboarding of new customers while supporting secure payment ecosystems. Integrated printing and personalization systems contribute to reduced turnaround times and improved service standards, particularly as customer acquisition scales in underserved markets.

TouchPoint’s role extends beyond equipment supply to include end-to-end managed services, ensuring consistent uptime, preventive maintenance and technical support. Infrastructure reliability remains central to customer trust, especially in microfinance banking where uninterrupted access to funds and transaction channels can directly affect small enterprises and household financial planning.

The partnership is positioned as part of a broader effort to build stronger and more accessible banking experiences nationwide. By combining ABHI Microfinance Bank’s financial inclusion mandate with TouchPoint’s infrastructure expertise, the collaboration aims to address operational bottlenecks and enhance service reach across multiple regions of Pakistan.

Microfinance institutions play a vital role in expanding financial inclusion, particularly among low-income households, small traders and rural communities. However, scaling service delivery requires dependable infrastructure capable of handling growing transaction volumes. The deployment of advanced ATM and CDM networks, alongside integrated card management systems, supports this expansion while maintaining operational resilience.

As digital adoption accelerates within Pakistan’s banking landscape, hybrid models that combine physical access points with technology-enabled services are becoming increasingly significant. Infrastructure partnerships such as this allow microfinance banks to optimize capital expenditure while leveraging specialized providers for equipment management and technical oversight.

Through this Memorandum of Understanding, ABHI Microfinance Bank and TouchPoint have aligned their capabilities to reinforce the accessibility, efficiency and reliability of essential banking services. The collaboration underscores a commitment to strengthening financial infrastructure and supporting wider customer access to secure, technology-driven banking solutions across the country.
