Alkhidmat Foundation, a leading non-profit organization, has extended its support to 35 Palestinian students by sponsoring their higher education in Pakistan. These students, who have faced immense challenges due to the ongoing crisis in Palestine, have arrived in Pakistan with the hope of a brighter future. The Foundation is covering their accommodation and academic expenses, offering a much-needed opportunity for education in a safe environment.
On their arrival, 17 students were warmly welcomed at Karachi airport by Alkhidmat Karachi CEO Naveed Ali Baig, along with other senior officials of the organization. After a brief stay in Karachi, these students were sent to Islamabad, where they have been enrolled in medical and other academic programs at various educational institutions across the country. This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s broader efforts to provide education and support to Palestinian youth, who have been affected by the region’s ongoing turmoil.
Alkhidmat Foundation, which is already supporting the education of over 200 Palestinian students, continues to be a pillar of hope for many in the region. The organization has gone beyond offering financial assistance by also arranging hostel accommodations for the new group of 35 students, ensuring that they have a stable and conducive environment for their studies. By investing in education, Alkhidmat aims to empower Palestinian youth, providing them with the tools they need to build a better future despite the challenging circumstances they face back home.
Naveed Ali Baig, CEO of Alkhidmat Karachi, emphasized the alarming situation in Palestine, highlighting the urgency of providing aid and opportunities to those in need. Baig expressed his deep concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region, noting that many students in Palestine face significant barriers to accessing education due to the political and economic turmoil. He reiterated Alkhidmat’s unwavering commitment to assisting their Palestinian brothers and sisters, underscoring that the organization has not only focused on education but has also been actively involved in providing relief to Gaza.
Alkhidmat Foundation has sent 25 relief consignments to Gaza, offering food, medical supplies, and other essential items to those in dire need. Additionally, the organization launched the “Rebuild Gaza” campaign, which aims to help rebuild the region’s infrastructure and support the people affected by the ongoing conflict.
