Citi Pakistan Names Habib Yousuf as Citi Country Officer and Banking Head

Citi Pakistan has announced the appointment of Habib Yousuf as Citi Country Officer (CCO) and Banking Head, effective December 15, 2025. In this role, he will succeed Ahmed Bozai and report to Naveed Kamal, Sub-Cluster & Banking Head for Middle East & Pakistan.

As Citi Pakistan’s Country Officer, Habib Yousuf will be responsible for delivering the full value of Citi’s global network to clients in the country, managing regulatory relationships, overseeing legal entity management, and driving the execution of the bank’s transformation initiatives across Pakistan.

Prior to joining Citi, Yousuf served as Regional Director for South Asia at British International Investments (BII), overseeing teams across Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan. He has also held senior leadership positions at HBL, including Head of Strategy, Regional General Manager for Afghanistan & Bangladesh, and Head of Financial Institutions, where he managed cross-border operations and key global financial institution relationships.
