The Insurance Association of Pakistan (IAP) has elected its new Executive Committee for the 2026-28 term, bringing a new group of industry representatives into the association’s leadership structure. Kamran Arshad Inam has been elected Chairman, while Azeem Iqbal Pirani will serve as Senior Vice Chairman and Adnan Waheed has been elected Vice Chairman. The newly elected leadership will serve as part of the association’s Executive Committee for the 2026-28 period.
The new Executive Committee includes 11 members in total, covering the three newly appointed office bearers along with eight additional members. Kamran Arshad Inam will lead the committee as Chairman, with Azeem Iqbal Pirani serving as Senior Vice Chairman and Adnan Waheed as Vice Chairman. The remaining members elected to the committee are Azfar Arshad Inam, Faisal Khan, Faisal Mumtaz, Muhammad Faisal Siddiqui, Muhammad Iftikhar Javed, Nasar us Samad Qureshi, Saqib Zeeshan and Sohail Fakhar.
The election establishes the leadership structure that will represent the Insurance Association of Pakistan during the 2026-28 term. The association serves as a platform for representatives of Pakistan’s insurance industry, and its executive leadership provides a forum for industry-related discussions and engagement. Kamran Arshad Inam will take the position of Chairman for the 2026-28 period, with Azeem Iqbal Pirani and Adnan Waheed taking the Senior Vice Chairman and Vice Chairman positions respectively. The formation of the new committee comes as Pakistan’s insurance sector continues to operate across conventional insurance and Takaful segments, with industry participants engaging on regulatory, market and operational matters. The IAP’s executive structure provides a channel through which participating industry representatives can coordinate on matters relevant to the insurance business and maintain engagement across the sector.
The 2026-28 Executive Committee will therefore carry forward the association’s industry representation under the leadership of Kamran Arshad Inam. With the Chairman, Senior Vice Chairman and Vice Chairman positions now filled alongside the wider committee membership, the association has established its leadership team for the new two-year term.
