Jazz, Pakistan’s leading digital operator, has officially appointed Shahzad Rasheed as President Enterprise Solutions, effective August 18, 2025. This leadership move comes at a defining moment in the company’s transformation journey under its ServiceCo strategy, which aims to expand and enhance enterprise-focused offerings across Pakistan.

Shahzad Rasheed brings with him more than 25 years of experience in enterprise technology, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and telecommunications infrastructure. His most recent role was as CEO of Huawei Cloud Pakistan, where he also led the company’s AI Business Unit. His prior leadership positions at global tech powerhouses such as IBM and Cisco underline his expertise in driving large-scale digital transformation across both public and private sectors.

His background in cloud economics and public sector modernization has seen him lead complex B2B transformation programs in diverse regional and global contexts. His proven track record in building future-ready enterprise platforms and navigating organizations through evolving digital challenges places him at the center of Jazz’s next chapter of growth.

This appointment is a strategic step in Jazz’s broader enterprise roadmap, where the Enterprise Solutions division has emerged as a key growth driver. As businesses across sectors increasingly demand industry-specific platforms, next-gen cloud tools, and AI-powered systems, Jazz is reinforcing its leadership to meet these market shifts.

Commenting on the appointment, Jazz CEO Aamir Ibrahim stated, “Shahzad joins us at a time when enterprise innovation is reshaping how businesses operate—and cloud is at the center of this shift. His depth of experience in enterprise transformation, cloud infrastructure, and AI brings valuable perspective as Jazz continues to evolve its digital offerings to better serve Pakistan’s growing needs.”

Speaking on his new role, Shahzad Rasheed shared, “It’s a privilege to be part of Jazz during a pivotal phase in its digital evolution. I’ve long admired the company’s scale and commitment to enabling enterprise growth through technology. I look forward to contributing to the next chapter of this journey alongside a talented and driven team.”

The company’s ServiceCo transformation strategy has been focused on carving out enterprise solutions as a core pillar of its long-term vision. From cloud-native services and smart industry tools to cybersecurity and AI-driven analytics, the enterprise vertical at Jazz is playing a central role in helping businesses across Pakistan scale with innovation and operational resilience.

As Shahzad Rasheed steps into this pivotal leadership role, Asif Aziz, who previously headed the Enterprise Solutions division, will transition to a new position supporting Jazz’s broader ServiceCo goals.

The leadership shift reflects Jazz’s continued investment in building an agile, innovation-led organization aligned with Pakistan’s digital economy roadmap. By strengthening its enterprise portfolio with experienced leadership and advanced technologies, Jazz is positioning itself as a trusted partner for businesses navigating the digital frontier.
