Meezan Bank participated in the Pakistan American Cultural Center (PACC) 4th Learning Festival 2026 as part of initiatives focused on education, learning and awareness among students. The festival brought together educational and learning activities covering a range of subjects, while Meezan Bank contributed to the event by highlighting developments in Islamic banking, digital transformation and financial literacy. The bank’s participation provided students with an opportunity to learn more about the changing role of technology in financial services and the importance of developing awareness about banking.
As part of the festival, Mr. Imad Ali Rathore and Mr. Salman Ali Siddiqui from Meezan Bank conducted a session titled “Shaping the Future of Islamic Banking Through Digital Transformation.” The session focused on the evolving role of technology in Islamic banking and provided students with an overview of how digital transformation is influencing financial services. The discussion also supported the broader objective of promoting financial literacy among students by introducing them to developments taking place within the banking sector.
Digital transformation has become an increasingly important part of financial services, including Islamic banking. Banks are using digital channels and technology-based services to provide customers with more convenient ways to access financial products and conduct banking activities. The session conducted by Meezan Bank representatives placed this development within the context of Islamic banking, giving students an opportunity to understand how technology can contribute to the delivery and accessibility of Shariah-compliant financial services.
The PACC Learning Festival also included sessions covering several other areas related to education and personal development. Topics featured during the festival included early childhood education, arts and communication, giving students exposure to different fields of learning beyond traditional classroom activities. Meezan Bank’s participation added a financial and banking perspective to the event, particularly through its session on digital transformation and its focus on financial literacy.
Alongside the educational session, Meezan Bank established a dedicated stall at the festival to showcase its products and services. The stall provided students with an opportunity to learn more about the bank and its range of banking offerings. By engaging directly with students, the bank aimed to introduce them to convenient banking solutions and provide greater awareness of the services available through a financial institution.
Financial literacy among young people can help students develop an understanding of basic financial concepts and the role of banking services in everyday economic activities. Meezan Bank’s participation in the festival combined this objective with awareness about Islamic banking, allowing students to explore both financial literacy and developments in technology-driven banking. The session and dedicated stall provided different avenues for students to engage with the subject, through both discussion and direct interaction with banking services.
The participation of Imad Ali Rathore and Salman Ali Siddiqui in the festival also provided a platform for Meezan Bank to discuss the relationship between technology and the future of Islamic banking. Their session addressed digital transformation as an area influencing the development of banking services, while the wider event provided an educational setting in which students could engage with these topics.
Through its participation in the PACC 4th Learning Festival 2026, Meezan Bank said it remains committed to promoting financial literacy, education and greater awareness of Islamic banking among the youth. The initiative brings banking education into an environment focused on student learning and provides young participants with exposure to financial services, digital transformation and Islamic banking. The bank’s involvement reflects its efforts to support educational initiatives while increasing awareness of banking and financial concepts among younger audiences.
