NIBAF Pakistan conducted an interactive workshop titled “Wellbeing 360: Mind, Body & Lifestyles” for officers of the State Bank of Pakistan at its Karachi Campus on September 16, 2026. The session focused on employee wellbeing and broader lifestyle considerations, forming part of NIBAF Pakistan’s efforts to support the development of human capital within the banking sector.
The workshop was designed as an interactive session for State Bank of Pakistan officers and was facilitated by Mr. Tanzeel Raza. The programme brought attention to wellbeing as an area that can complement professional development and technical learning within financial institutions. By incorporating subjects related to the mind, body and lifestyle into its training activities, NIBAF Pakistan is expanding the scope of learning opportunities available to banking professionals.
NIBAF Pakistan operates as a training and capacity-building institution serving the financial sector, with programmes covering professional, technical and broader development areas. The latest workshop reflects an approach in which employee wellness is considered alongside the technical competencies required for banking and central banking responsibilities. Such sessions can provide participants with opportunities to discuss personal wellbeing, lifestyle choices and factors that can influence their overall working experience.
The September 16 session was held at NIBAF Pakistan’s Karachi Campus and specifically targeted officers of the State Bank of Pakistan. The workshop’s title, “Wellbeing 360: Mind, Body & Lifestyles,” indicates a broad approach to wellness rather than concentrating on a single aspect. The session brought together different dimensions of wellbeing under one programme, allowing participants to engage with the subject through an interactive format.
According to NIBAF Pakistan, the institution continues to prioritize human capital development by integrating employee wellness and mental health initiatives with its core technical banking curricula. This approach recognizes that professional training can extend beyond banking regulations, financial systems and operational skills. Broader development initiatives can also form part of an institution’s efforts to support its workforce and create opportunities for employees to engage with issues related to personal and professional wellbeing.
For banking institutions, employee development increasingly involves a combination of technical learning and initiatives that address workplace and individual needs. NIBAF Pakistan’s latest workshop provides an example of this broader training approach, with the session giving State Bank of Pakistan officers an opportunity to participate in a dedicated programme focused on mind, body and lifestyle considerations.
The workshop was facilitated by Tanzeel Raza and took place as part of NIBAF Pakistan’s activities at its Karachi Campus. While the session was specifically organized for SBP officers, the institution’s wider human capital development approach includes professional learning and capacity-building initiatives designed for personnel working across the financial sector.
The Wellbeing 360 programme also adds another dimension to NIBAF Pakistan’s ongoing training activities, which have included specialized sessions related to banking operations, foreign exchange management, financial regulation and other areas of professional development. By combining technical education with wellness-focused initiatives, NIBAF Pakistan is continuing to broaden the range of subjects covered through its institutional learning programmes.
The September 16 workshop therefore highlighted the role of employee wellbeing within the wider human capital development agenda. Through initiatives such as “Wellbeing 360: Mind, Body & Lifestyles,” NIBAF Pakistan is incorporating wellness and mental health considerations into its training environment while continuing to support the professional development needs of State Bank of Pakistan officers and other financial-sector personnel.
