NIBAF Pakistan has announced a five-day executive masterclass on Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), scheduled to take place from October 19 to 23, 2026. The programme is designed for professionals seeking to develop their knowledge of technology-related risks, information systems control, IT governance and risk management. Participants will be able to attend classroom sessions at NIBAF Pakistan’s Karachi campus or join the training through an online virtual format.
The masterclass will run daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm over the five-day period. NIBAF Pakistan has set the training fee at Rs18,000 plus applicable taxes per participant per day for classroom attendance, while the online option will cost Rs12,000 plus applicable taxes per participant per day. The programme provides two participation options for professionals who want to attend the sessions in person or remotely. Nominations and registrations must be submitted by October 16, 2026.
The training will be facilitated by two professionals with experience in technology assurance, information security, governance and risk management. The first facilitator, Hussein Hassanali, is a board-level assurance, risk and information security expert with more than 30 years of international experience. His areas of expertise include board reporting, technology auditing, data privacy, IT governance and risk management. He is also an accredited trainer for ISACA certifications and delivers technology risk and leadership programmes for senior management in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The second facilitator, Naushad Siddiqui, serves as Head of Technology Audits at Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC). He brings more than 27 years of international and local experience across enterprise systems development, IT project management, information systems audits, business continuity planning and disaster recovery planning. His professional background also includes the implementation of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards. These areas are relevant to organisations that need to assess technology controls, prepare for operational disruptions and maintain governance over information systems.
CRISC is associated with the assessment and management of information technology risk and the development of controls that support organisational objectives. Professionals working in technology audits, cybersecurity, compliance, information systems, business continuity and risk management may find these subjects relevant to their responsibilities. The masterclass brings together technology assurance and governance experience, with sessions intended to address areas that organisations increasingly need to manage as their systems and operational processes depend on digital infrastructure.
For banks and other financial institutions, technology risk management is closely connected with the protection of customer information, the reliability of digital services and the oversight of information systems. Effective governance and control processes can help organisations identify potential weaknesses, assess exposure and establish procedures for responding to technology-related incidents. Training in these areas is also relevant to professionals responsible for internal audits, compliance reviews, business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements.
NIBAF Pakistan has invited interested participants and organisations to submit nominations before the October 16 deadline. Registration enquiries can be sent to registration@nibaf.gov.pk or marketing@nibaf.org.pk. Further information is available by calling 021-35277511 or 051-9269850, while WhatsApp enquiries can be directed to 0303-0652963.
The programme is scheduled to begin three days after the nomination deadline, with classroom training available at the Karachi campus and an online alternative for remote participants.
