According to the latest monthly report released by the Economic Affairs Division, disbursements from official bilateral and multilateral development partners reached one point nine six billion dollars in the final month of the fiscal year, bringing the full-year collection from these institutions to six point three nine billion dollars. A major commercial loan facility provided by China Development Bank served as the single largest individual inflow recorded during the month.

Multilateral development institutions represented a primary source of official external financing, disbursing one point nine three billion dollars in June and lifting their combined full-year contributions to five point zero three billion dollars. Among multilateral lenders, the Asian Development Bank led funding flows by providing nine hundred fifty-three point seven four million dollars during June, pushing its cumulative support for the fiscal year to one point seven seven billion dollars. The short-term facility of the Islamic Development Bank contributed five hundred thirty-five point six three million dollars in June, bringing its total annual disbursements to one point zero two billion dollars.

Additional multilateral funding was provided by the International Development Association, which disbursed three hundred fifty-six point zero nine million dollars in June to reach a cumulative total of one point five one billion dollars for the year. The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development contributed sixty-eight point six six million dollars during the month, lifting its annual total to five hundred sixteen point twelve million dollars. The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank disbursed nine point six three million dollars in June for a full-year total of one hundred twenty-three point eighty-six million dollars, while the Islamic Development Bank added two point five five million dollars to bring its regular facility total to sixty-eight point thirteen million dollars.

Bilateral development partners disbursed twenty-nine point three five million dollars during June, taking their cumulative contributions for the fiscal year to one point three six billion dollars. Denmark provided eighteen point seven eight million dollars in June, bringing its annual total to eighty-nine point ninety-three million dollars, while France contributed eight point seven zero million dollars to reach seventy-one point sixty-eight million dollars for the year. Germany disbursed six hundred twenty thousand dollars in June for a full-year total of thirteen point thirty-five million dollars, and Saudi Arabia added one point zero nine million dollars to achieve a cumulative total of one point zero one billion dollars. Bilateral non-guaranteed flows from China recorded one hundred sixty thousand dollars in June, raising its annual total to one hundred eight point twenty-four million dollars, while guaranteed loans remained unchanged at three hundred ninety-two point eighty-two million dollars.

Commercial borrowing provided significant liquidity in the closing month of the fiscal year, highlighted by a one point seven billion dollar loan disbursement from China Development Bank. Standard Chartered Bank London contributed one point four three million dollars in June, lifting its annual total to two hundred three point thirty-three million dollars, bringing total commercial bank inflows for the fiscal year to one point nine zero billion dollars. Meanwhile, foreign commercial inflows through Naya Pakistan Certificates generated three hundred eighty-six point zero five million dollars in June, split between conventional and Islamic facilities, pushing the scheme’s full-year total to three point zero five billion dollars. On a functional basis, non-project aid accounted for three point sixty-one billion dollars of June’s total, emphasizing ongoing reliance on budget support facilities for economic stabilization.
