NIBAF Pakistan successfully conducted the module titled “Team Building and Personal Effectiveness using Outbound Activity” under the PSPC Leadership Induction Program (PLIP) – Batch-3, reinforcing its focus on experiential learning as a core component of leadership development. The three-day module was held from January 08 to January 10, 2026, at the NIBAF Pakistan Islamabad Campus.
The module was designed to strengthen leadership capabilities by immersing participants in structured outbound activities that emphasized teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Unlike conventional classroom-based training, the outbound approach encouraged participants to learn through experience, reflection, and group interaction, enabling deeper understanding of leadership dynamics and personal effectiveness.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Haris Mahmood, who guided participants through a series of carefully designed activities aimed at enhancing self-awareness and collaborative skills. Through real-time challenges and group tasks, participants were exposed to scenarios that tested their ability to lead, follow, adapt, and support team members under varying conditions.
Throughout the module, strong emphasis was placed on teamwork and trust-building. Participants engaged in exercises that required collective decision-making, shared responsibility, and effective communication to achieve common objectives. These activities highlighted the importance of coordination, empathy, and clarity in leadership roles, particularly in high-pressure or unfamiliar environments.
The module also focused on personal effectiveness, helping participants identify their individual leadership styles, strengths, and areas for improvement. By reflecting on their responses during outbound activities, participants gained insights into how personal behavior and mindset influence team performance and leadership outcomes. The sessions encouraged resilience, adaptability, and accountability as essential traits for effective leadership.
Officials said the outbound learning format enabled participants to translate theoretical leadership concepts into practical application. The experiential nature of the module allowed individuals to internalize lessons more effectively, fostering long-term behavioral change rather than short-term skill acquisition.
The PSPC Leadership Induction Program aims to develop well-rounded leaders by combining technical knowledge with interpersonal and behavioral competencies. Modules such as team building and personal effectiveness play a vital role in preparing participants for leadership responsibilities within complex organizational environments.
NIBAF Pakistan continues to support leadership development through innovative training methodologies that align with modern organizational needs. The successful completion of this module under PLIP Batch-3 reflects the institute’s commitment to nurturing leadership resilience, collaboration, and effectiveness across Pakistan’s professional and financial sectors.
