Prior to joining Mobilink Bank, Lotia served as Chief Information Security Officer at Telenor – Easypaisa Digital Bank, where he played a pivotal role in elevating the institution’s security framework. During his tenure, he helped the bank achieve globally recognized security certifications while strengthening risk management protocols and data protection measures. His leadership contributed to the bank’s resilience against cyber threats, ensuring safe and secure digital financial services for millions of customers.

Lotia’s extensive career also includes over eight years as Chief Technology Officer at Aequitas Information Services Limited (TASDEEQ). There, he oversaw technology operations, security architecture, enterprise risk management, and business continuity planning. He successfully aligned the organization with international standards such as ISO 27001 and CoBiT, enhancing operational security and ensuring regulatory compliance across complex technology environments.

In addition, Lotia has held senior leadership roles in Pakistan’s public and private sectors, including serving as Director of Information Security at NADRA. His experience in national identity management systems strengthened cybersecurity frameworks at a critical institutional level. He also held senior cybersecurity and risk positions at major banks including Faysal Bank, SAMBA Bank, and Meezan Bank, where he led initiatives to mitigate emerging cyber threats and safeguard critical financial infrastructure.

At Mobilink Bank, Lotia is expected to lead the bank’s cybersecurity strategy, implement robust risk governance frameworks, and enhance data protection protocols across all digital and operational platforms.
