ICMA KSA Branch Council To Host Webinar On Balanced Scorecard And Strategy Execution

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) KSA Branch Council, in collaboration with the National CPD Committee, is set to organise an online webinar focused on the Balanced Scorecard and its role in strategy execution. The session, titled “Balanced Scorecard: The Tool for Strategy Execution,” is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, and will examine the practical application of the framework in strategic planning, performance measurement and organisational alignment. The webinar will be conducted through Zoom and will be accessible to participants joining from Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

The programme is designed to provide participants with practical insight into how the Balanced Scorecard can be used as a management tool for translating organisational strategies into measurable objectives and performance indicators. The session will specifically focus on its application in strategic planning, performance measurement and organisational alignment. These areas are closely connected with organisational decision making and management performance, making the webinar relevant to professionals seeking to strengthen their understanding of strategy implementation and performance management.

Mallick Kamran, FCMA, CFO and Finance Director at Shibh Al Jazira Contracting Company (SAJCO), will serve as the speaker for the webinar. With his position in corporate finance and leadership, Kamran will lead the session on the application of the Balanced Scorecard within organisational strategy and performance management. The webinar will provide participants with an opportunity to learn from a finance professional working in a senior corporate role while exploring the practical dimensions of strategic planning and performance measurement.

The session will be hosted by Zia Mustafa, FCMA, who is a Member of the KSA Branch Council. His role as host will support the webinar proceedings and provide participants with a structured platform for the discussion. The collaboration between the KSA Branch Council and the National CPD Committee brings together professional development initiatives with a focus on management accounting, strategic planning and organisational performance.

The webinar is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM according to Saudi Arabia time. For participants joining from Pakistan, the session will run from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Pakistan time. The two hour online format allows professionals in both countries to attend the session remotely without requiring physical participation at a specific venue.

The Balanced Scorecard is being presented in the webinar as a tool for strategy execution, with the programme focusing on how organisations can apply it in practical business settings. Strategic planning provides organisations with a framework for defining objectives, while performance measurement allows management to assess progress against those objectives. Organisational alignment connects different functions and teams with broader strategic priorities, forming the key areas that will be addressed during the session.

The webinar is also positioned as a professional learning opportunity for members of the accounting, finance and business communities. Professionals working in corporate finance and management roles can benefit from sessions that connect strategic frameworks with their practical application in organisations. By focusing on strategy execution rather than only the theoretical aspects of the Balanced Scorecard, the programme aims to provide participants with insights into its use for planning and performance management.

Participants interested in attending the webinar can register through the registration link provided by the organisers. The session will take place online via Zoom on September 5, 2026. Registration is required for participation, and professionals planning to attend from Pakistan or Saudi Arabia can use the designated registration platform to secure their participation in the two hour session.

The involvement of the KSA Branch Council and National CPD Committee reflects the organisations’ focus on providing professional development opportunities for their members and the wider professional community. The webinar brings together a senior finance executive as speaker and a KSA Branch Council member as host for a discussion centred on strategic planning, performance measurement and organisational alignment.

The September 5 session will therefore provide participants with a dedicated forum to examine the Balanced Scorecard as a tool for strategy execution. With Mallick Kamran, FCMA, delivering the session and Zia Mustafa, FCMA, serving as host, the programme will focus on practical application and organisational performance. The online format will allow professionals from Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to participate in the webinar during the scheduled time.
