The strike price for the IPO was finalized at Rs18.02 per share following the book-building process conducted on December 11 and 12, 2025.

The IPO drew total participation of approximately Rs1.68 billion against an issue size of Rs525 million, resulting in an oversubscription of 3.2 times. According to the company’s filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), a total of 258 investors participated in the book-building process, with 140 investors ultimately allocated shares.

The 37,500,000 shares allocated were distributed across four investor categories. This strong subscription reflects investor confidence in PQFTL’s growth prospects and the expanding family takaful and insurance market in Pakistan. The successful IPO also signals growing interest from both institutional and retail investors in Shariah-compliant financial products.

The IPO proceeds are expected to support PQFTL’s business expansion, product development, and operational initiatives, while enhancing the company’s ability to serve a broader customer base across Pakistan. By attracting both high net worth individuals and institutional participants, PQFTL’s market debut demonstrates strong engagement from diverse investor segments, positioning the company for sustainable growth in the competitive insurance landscape.

The successful completion of the IPO adds momentum to Pakistan’s capital markets, highlighting investor appetite for insurance and takaful offerings, and underscores the importance of strategic market positioning, transparency, and regulatory compliance in building trust among stakeholders.
