Systems Limited Acquires Confiz to Boost IT Services in Retail and CPG Sectors

Systems Limited (SYS), one of Pakistan’s leading IT firms, has reaffirmed a positive business outlook following the acquisition of Confiz Limited, a top-three Pakistani IT company specializing in the retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors. The update was shared during SYS’s latest corporate briefing, highlighting the company’s strategic direction and growth priorities.

The acquisition of Confiz, a 20-year-old company with a strong record of organic growth, was executed through a 100% share swap arrangement. As a result, SYS shareholders will see a dilution of 3.8–4.0%, while Confiz’s revenue is expected to contribute approximately 10% to SYS’s existing business. The deal is expected to be finalized within three months, subject to court and regulatory approvals.

According to a report by Topline Securities, Confiz demonstrates higher revenue per employee compared to Systems, primarily due to its established presence in North America and its deep integration with the Microsoft ecosystem. Confiz also operates with a direct workforce in the United States, Europe, and other offshore locations. Its diversified client portfolio includes several Fortune 100 companies, with minimal overlap with Systems’ existing customers. Profitability and margins are aligned with industry standards for growth companies, making the acquisition a strategic fit for SYS.

In addition to the Confiz acquisition, SYS management confirmed that the BAT SAA acquisition is now fully integrated, with operations commencing in November 2025. While specific details remain confidential due to non-disclosure agreements, the integration represents SYS’s continued focus on scaling profitable ventures.

The company has also been exiting loss-making domestic contracts, with more expected to conclude by the end of the current and next quarters. Management emphasized a strategy prioritizing stable and sustainable growth over aggressive expansion in Pakistan’s domestic market.

Meanwhile, SYS’s growth in the Saudi market has accelerated this quarter, driven by upcoming public sector investments. The company reported improved employee retention, attributed in part to reduced visa constraints in the Middle East, and has largely maintained senior leadership continuity, which analysts expect to support consistent execution of growth strategies.

Industry observers note that the acquisition of Confiz enhances SYS’s capability to serve international clients, strengthens its presence in high-margin markets, and broadens expertise in retail and CPG technology solutions. By consolidating its operations and focusing on profitable business lines, Systems Limited aims to deliver sustainable growth and reinforce its position as a leading IT services provider in Pakistan and the broader region.

The company’s strategic acquisitions and operational focus are seen as a clear signal of confidence in both domestic and international markets, positioning SYS for continued expansion and long-term success in 2026 and beyond.
