Faysal Bank Limited has appointed Muhammad Zohair Imtiaz as Head of Information Security Governance & Compliance, strengthening its leadership in information security, technology risk and regulatory compliance.
Imtiaz brings nearly two decades of professional experience spanning enterprise systems, infrastructure security, information technology risk, information security, governance and compliance. His experience covers Pakistan’s banking and technology sectors, giving him exposure to the security and technology requirements associated with financial institutions and enterprise environments.
In his new role, Imtiaz will oversee areas related to information security governance and compliance at Faysal Bank. The position involves a focus on security governance frameworks, risk management, compliance requirements and controls designed to support the bank’s technology and information security environment.
His professional background includes experience across enterprise technology systems and infrastructure security, along with information security and IT risk functions. This combination of technical and governance expertise is relevant to financial institutions as banks continue to strengthen their technology environments and security controls.
