Meezan Bank Launches TouchPoint QMatch Powered CCDM Services Across Pakistan

Meezan Bank Limited has launched a new Cash and Cheque Deposit and Encashment Machine powered by TouchPoint’s QMatch Digital Platform, introducing a self service banking solution that combines cash deposits, cheque deposits, cheque encashment and 24/7 Virtual Teller Assistance. The new service is designed to provide customers with greater access to essential banking transactions while extending support beyond conventional banking hours.

The new Cash and Cheque Deposit and Encashment Machine was launched at Meezan Bank’s Ayesha Masjid Branch in DHA, Karachi. Following the initial deployment, the bank plans to progressively expand the service across Pakistan, with a nationwide rollout of 300 CCDMs. The planned deployment is expected to strengthen the bank’s self service infrastructure and provide customers with additional channels for completing routine cash and cheque related transactions.

The CCDM solution is powered by QMatch, TouchPoint’s digital self service banking platform. The technology enables customers to carry out cash and cheque transactions through a single self service facility while also providing access to Virtual Teller Assistance. The integration brings together automated banking services and real time guidance, allowing customers to receive support while completing transactions through the machine.

A central feature of the solution is its 24/7 Virtual Teller Assistance. Through this service, customers can receive guided and personalised assistance while using the self service facility. The model combines automated transaction capabilities with human assisted support, giving customers access to guidance even outside traditional branch operating hours.

The introduction of the new CCDM adds another technology enabled channel to Meezan Bank’s banking services. Customers using the facility can access multiple cash and cheque related services through a single machine rather than relying exclusively on conventional counter based banking. The service is intended to improve convenience and provide greater flexibility for customers who need to conduct transactions outside regular banking hours.

TouchPoint said it is partnering with Meezan Bank on the initiative and supporting the bank’s efforts to expand self service banking services across Pakistan. The partnership brings TouchPoint’s QMatch platform into a wider banking deployment, with the planned installation of 300 CCDMs providing a broader footprint for the technology.

The nationwide rollout will progressively extend the availability of the CCDM service beyond the initial Ayesha Masjid Branch location. As the machines are deployed at additional Meezan Bank locations, customers will gain access to automated cash and cheque services along with Virtual Teller Assistance. The expansion is expected to strengthen the bank’s self service banking infrastructure and provide additional options for customers seeking convenient transaction channels.

The launch comes as banks in Pakistan continue to adopt technology enabled channels for routine financial services. Self service banking facilities can help financial institutions provide customers with access to selected services without requiring every transaction to be completed through a conventional branch counter. The addition of virtual assistance further combines digital access with guided customer support.

For Meezan Bank, the deployment represents an expansion of its technology based banking infrastructure, particularly for cash and cheque related services. The planned 300 machine rollout will provide a wider network of self service facilities while allowing customers to access selected services beyond conventional branch hours.

The partnership also highlights the role of digital platforms in transforming traditional banking processes. Rather than limiting technology adoption to mobile applications and online banking, financial institutions are increasingly integrating digital systems into physical banking channels. The QMatch powered CCDM combines automated transaction processing with virtual teller support within a physical self service facility.

Following the launch at the Ayesha Masjid Branch in DHA, Karachi, Meezan Bank will progressively deploy the CCDMs across its network. The planned nationwide rollout is expected to make cash deposits, cheque deposits and cheque encashment more accessible while maintaining 24/7 access to Virtual Teller Assistance.

The initiative by Meezan Bank and TouchPoint reflects the continued expansion of self service banking technology in Pakistan. By combining QMatch powered digital services with virtual human assistance, the CCDM rollout is intended to provide customers with a more accessible and convenient way to complete cash and cheque transactions while supporting the bank’s broader expansion of technology enabled banking channels.
