NIBAF Pakistan Announces AI Agents and No-Code Automation Training for Bankers in Karachi

The National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) Pakistan is set to organise a one-day executive masterclass on AI agents and no-code automation for banking operations at its Karachi Campus on October 29, 2026. The training programme is designed to introduce banking professionals to the practical use of artificial intelligence and automation tools in financial operations, with an emphasis on applying emerging technologies to improve workflows and operational efficiency.

The masterclass will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is intended to provide hands-on learning for participants interested in understanding how artificial intelligence agents and no-code platforms can support banking activities. As financial institutions increasingly explore technology-led approaches to service delivery, data analysis and internal processes, training in these areas can help employees understand how automation may be incorporated into everyday banking work. The programme offers participants an opportunity to explore these technologies in a structured executive learning environment.

Mr. Sajid Majeed, an AI and Financial Analytics Trainer, will facilitate the session. His areas of specialisation include financial analytics, artificial intelligence, Agentic AI, large language models, application programming interfaces and Python-driven data science. His professional focus involves translating complex technical concepts into practical tools that can help streamline financial operations. Through the masterclass, participants are expected to engage with concepts related to AI-enabled workflows and the potential role of automation in supporting banking processes.

AI agents are software systems designed to carry out tasks through a combination of instructions, data and, in some cases, interaction with other digital tools. In banking, such systems may be explored for activities such as information processing, workflow support, internal assistance and selected routine operational tasks. Their application requires appropriate controls, testing and human oversight, particularly where customer information, financial decisions or regulatory obligations are involved. Understanding how these systems operate can help banking professionals assess where automation may be useful and where additional safeguards are necessary.

No-code automation platforms offer another approach to improving operational processes by allowing users to build workflows through visual interfaces rather than writing extensive amounts of programming code. When combined with AI capabilities, these platforms can help connect tasks and applications, reduce repetitive manual work and support more consistent processes. However, their suitability depends on the specific banking use case, data protection requirements, system integration needs and institutional policies. Practical training can help professionals better understand both the opportunities and the limitations associated with these tools.

The training investment is PKR 18,000 per participant, plus applicable tax. NIBAF Pakistan has set October 28, 2026, as the last date for nominations, one day before the scheduled masterclass. Interested banking professionals and institutions will need to complete their nominations by the stated deadline. The programme forms part of the broader need for banking-sector professionals to develop relevant technology skills as financial services continue to adopt digital tools and automated processes.

By focusing on AI agents and no-code automation, the masterclass will address technology areas that are becoming increasingly relevant to operational planning and digital transformation in financial institutions. Participants will have the opportunity to build their understanding of how these tools can be applied to banking workflows and financial analytics. The session is scheduled to take place at NIBAF Pakistan’s Karachi Campus on October 29, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
