NIBAF Pakistan Announces AI Capability Building Training for Banking Professionals

NIBAF Pakistan has announced a one-day training programme focused on artificial intelligence capabilities for banking professionals. Titled “AI Capability Building: Banking Professionals Track,” the programme is scheduled for September 17, 2026, at NIBAF Pakistan’s Karachi Campus and will focus on helping banking professionals understand and apply artificial intelligence and related technologies in their professional roles.

The training will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and has been designed as an intensive professional development programme. The training investment is PKR 25,000 plus applicable tax per participant. Banking professionals interested in attending are required to submit their nominations by September 15, 2026.

Noor Surani, a trainer, coach and artificial intelligence and automation specialist, will facilitate the programme. He specialises in artificial intelligence, with particular expertise in Generative AI and emerging technologies. His professional background includes an MBA in Management Information Systems, along with certifications as a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Application Specialist and Certified SCRUM Master.

Surani also has experience in artificial intelligence, Robotic Process Automation and automation frameworks. His work focuses on practical training and strategic mentorship, with an emphasis on helping professionals develop technology-based solutions and apply emerging tools in workplace environments.

According to NIBAF Pakistan, the programme is intended to support capability building among banking professionals as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly relevant to financial services and business operations. The training approach will focus on hands-on learning and collaborative problem-solving, allowing participants to explore how artificial intelligence and automation can contribute to product development and digital transformation.

The programme also reflects the growing focus on technology skills within Pakistan’s banking sector. As financial institutions continue adopting digital systems and automated processes, training professionals in artificial intelligence and related technologies can help strengthen their ability to work with new tools and identify opportunities for improving business processes.
