ICMA KSA To Host Webinar On Tax Compliance For Overseas Pakistanis And Non-Residents

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan KSA Branch Council, in collaboration with the National Continuing Professional Development Committee, is set to organise a webinar focused on tax compliance and return filing requirements for overseas Pakistanis and non-resident individuals.

The webinar, titled “Tax Compliance & Return Filing for Overseas Pakistanis & Non-Resident Individuals,” will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The online session will be conducted through Zoom and will run from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saudi Arabia time, corresponding to 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Pakistan time.

The session is intended to provide participants with practical information about applicable income tax rules, tax return filing procedures and common mistakes that overseas Pakistanis and non-resident individuals may encounter while meeting their tax obligations. The programme is being organised as part of the professional development activities of the ICMA KSA Branch Council and National CPD Committee.

Haider Imam, ACMA, and Junaid Iqbal will serve as speakers for the webinar. They are expected to discuss key aspects of tax compliance and return filing relevant to Pakistanis living overseas and individuals who fall under non-resident tax considerations. The session will provide participants with an opportunity to better understand the requirements that may apply to their income and tax reporting responsibilities.

The webinar will be hosted by Noman Ismail, while Salman Ahmed will serve as co-host. The organisers have structured the session as an online learning programme, allowing participants in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and other locations to attend remotely through Zoom.

Tax residency and return filing can involve specific considerations for individuals who live outside Pakistan or have income and financial interests connected to the country. The webinar is designed to address these areas by providing practical guidance on applicable rules, filing procedures and issues that may result in errors during the tax return process.

The programme will also provide participants with an opportunity to raise questions and gain a clearer understanding of tax compliance requirements affecting overseas Pakistanis and non-resident individuals. By focusing on practical aspects of income tax and return filing, the organisers aim to support professionals and taxpayers in understanding their reporting responsibilities.

Interested participants can register for the webinar through the registration link provided by the ICMA KSA Branch Council. The online session will be held on September 26 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Pakistan time, giving participants an opportunity to attend the programme without being required to travel to a physical venue.
