NIBAF Pakistan has announced a four-day executive certification programme on Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), scheduled to take place from September 21 to 24, 2026, at its Karachi campus. The programme will offer both face-to-face and online participation, providing professionals with flexible options to attend the intensive training.
The programme will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day and is designed around enterprise IT governance and related areas of technology management. Physical participation will cost PKR 18,000 per participant per day plus applicable tax, bringing the four-day training investment to PKR 72,000 plus tax. Online participation will be available at PKR 12,000 per participant per day plus tax, with the total cost for four days amounting to PKR 48,000 plus tax.
The certification programme will be facilitated by Mr. Hussein Hassanali and Mr. Naushad Siddiqui. Hassanali is a British Pakistani assurance, risk and information security professional with more than 30 years of international experience. His areas of experience include board-level reporting, technology auditing, data privacy, information security, IT governance, risk management and compliance across different business sectors.
Hassanali is also an accredited trainer for ISACA’s technology and artificial intelligence audit, governance, risk, security and data privacy certifications. He has provided training on technology risk, ethics, governance, cybersecurity awareness and leadership excellence to board directors and senior management of banks and large corporations in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The second facilitator, Naushad Siddiqui, is the Head of Technology Audits at Sui Southern Gas Company. He has more than 27 years of international and local industry experience and specialises in assurance, governance and information technology. His professional areas include enterprise systems development, IT project management, information systems audits, risk management and IT governance.
Siddiqui also has experience in business continuity and disaster recovery planning, policy development and implementation of ISO standards. His background in technology audits and governance will contribute to the programme’s focus on enterprise IT oversight and risk-related practices.
NIBAF Pakistan has set September 18, 2026, as the last date for nominations. The programme will be conducted at the NIBAF Pakistan Karachi Campus, while participants who prefer remote attendance will have the option to join online through the hybrid format.
The executive certification programme provides professionals with an opportunity to undertake focused training in enterprise IT governance through sessions led by experienced practitioners. The programme is expected to be relevant to professionals working across technology, audit, risk, information security, governance and related areas.
