NIBAF Pakistan is set to organise an executive masterclass focused on machine learning and its applications in banking and financial decision-making at its Karachi Campus on October 14, 2026. The specialised programme is aimed at professionals working in banking and finance who want to develop a practical understanding of how machine learning, artificial intelligence and financial analytics can support data-driven decisions.
The masterclass, titled “Machine Learning for Banking and Financial Decision Making,” will take place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the NIBAF Pakistan Karachi Campus. The training investment has been set at PKR 18,000 plus applicable tax per participant. The one-day programme is designed around the growing role of advanced analytical technologies in financial institutions, where data is increasingly being used to support business analysis, risk assessment, forecasting and other decision-making activities.
The session will be facilitated by Sajid Majeed, an AI and financial analytics expert. Majeed is described as a technology trainer specialising in financial analytics through artificial intelligence, Agentic AI architectures, large language models and application programming interface integrations. His professional focus combines emerging AI technologies with financial analysis, providing participants with exposure to tools and approaches that can be applied to financial and business use cases.
Majeed also has expertise in Python and data analytics, with a focus on practical artificial intelligence adoption and intelligent automation. His work includes machine learning models designed to support financial decision-making, an area that is becoming increasingly relevant as banks and financial institutions handle larger volumes of structured and unstructured data. The use of analytical models can help organisations identify patterns, assess information and develop more data-driven approaches to financial operations.
The increasing adoption of machine learning within financial services has also created a need for professionals who can understand how analytical models are developed and applied in practical business environments. Beyond traditional data analysis, newer artificial intelligence approaches are introducing automation and advanced language-based tools into professional workflows. Training programmes that connect these technologies with financial use cases can help banking professionals understand where machine learning and artificial intelligence can be incorporated into existing processes.
NIBAF Pakistan has set October 13, 2026, as the final date for nominations for the masterclass. Professionals and organisations interested in participating can submit nominations or seek registration information through the institute’s designated contacts. Registration inquiries can be sent to registration@nibaf.gov.pk and marketing@nibaf.org.pk. Participants can also contact NIBAF Pakistan through 021-35277511 and 051-9269850, while WhatsApp inquiries are available at 0303-0652963.
The October 14 programme reflects the expanding importance of machine learning and financial analytics in professional banking education. By bringing together machine learning concepts, artificial intelligence tools, programming and financial decision-making, the masterclass is intended to give banking and finance professionals a focused learning opportunity around technologies that are increasingly becoming part of modern financial operations.
