Hascol Petroleum Limited has reappointed Sir Alan Duncan as chairman of its board and Javed AhmedJee as the company’s chief executive officer, with the decisions approved by the board of directors. The company disclosed the appointments through a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), confirming the continuation of its current leadership structure. Duncan has been reappointed as chairman for a three-year term, while AhmedJee will continue in his position as CEO under the same terms and conditions as his existing appointment.
According to the notice issued by Hascol Petroleum, the board of directors approved Duncan’s reappointment as chairman for a further period of three years. The decision provides continuity at the board level as the company moves into the next phase of its operations. Duncan will continue to serve in the chairmanship under the newly approved term, following the formal approval by the company’s board.
The company also confirmed the reappointment of Javed AhmedJee as chief executive officer. Unlike the chairman’s appointment, which was approved for a new three-year term, AhmedJee’s continuation is based on the same terms and conditions associated with his existing appointment. Hascol Petroleum stated that his current term as CEO is set to expire on May 4, 2028. The reappointment therefore maintains AhmedJee in the chief executive role through the existing tenure disclosed by the company.
The appointments were approved by Hascol Petroleum’s board of directors and subsequently communicated to the Pakistan Stock Exchange through the company’s regulatory filing. Such disclosures provide shareholders and market participants with formal information regarding changes or continuations in the leadership of listed companies. In this case, the latest notification confirms that both the board chairmanship and chief executive position will remain with the existing officeholders.
Sir Alan Duncan’s reappointment establishes a further three-year period in the role of chairman, while Javed AhmedJee’s continuation ensures that the company’s executive leadership remains unchanged under his current terms. The two appointments cover separate leadership responsibilities, with Duncan continuing to head the board and AhmedJee retaining responsibility as chief executive officer. The company has not disclosed any changes to the terms and conditions attached to AhmedJee’s current appointment.
Hascol Petroleum operates within Pakistan’s petroleum sector, making the composition of its senior leadership relevant to the company’s corporate governance and ongoing business management. The latest board decision does not introduce a new CEO or chairman but instead confirms the continuation of both executives in their respective positions. The company’s notice to the PSX formally records the decisions and provides the relevant tenure details for the two appointments.
With Duncan reappointed for three years and AhmedJee continuing as CEO until the expiry of his current term on May 4, 2028, Hascol Petroleum has maintained continuity in its senior leadership structure. The decisions reflect the board’s latest approved appointments and were formally disclosed through the company’s filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
