ICMA Pakistan Renews MoU with Asaan Ghar Finance for EV Bike Financing

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) has renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Asaan Ghar Finance Limited, expanding collaboration in professional development, career opportunities and sustainable mobility. The agreement was renewed on September 29, 2026, and includes an Electric Vehicle (EV) Bike Financing Scheme for ICMA students, members and employees. The partnership brings together professional development initiatives and access to financing for electric mobility, providing an additional area of cooperation between the professional accounting body and the finance company.

The renewed MoU was signed by Aamir Ijaz Khan, FCMA, CMP, Executive Director at ICMA, and Faiq Sattar Khan, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Asaan Ghar Finance Limited. The signing represents a continuation of cooperation between the two organisations, with the renewed arrangement covering areas that include professional development and career opportunities. The addition of an EV bike financing scheme provides a specific financial facility for eligible members of the ICMA community and connects the partnership with the wider adoption of electric mobility.

Under the renewed collaboration, ICMA students, members and employees will be able to benefit from the EV Bike Financing Scheme offered through the partnership. Electric two-wheelers have increasingly become part of discussions around affordable and sustainable urban transportation, particularly for professionals and students who require regular mobility. The financing arrangement outlined in the MoU gives the ICMA community access to a dedicated financing opportunity while also supporting the organisations’ stated focus on sustainable mobility.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both organisations. From ICMA, the participants included Asim Husain Khan, Senior Director, Members Professional Development and Corporate Trainings, and Shams Bhimani, Head of the Job Placements and Industrial Linkages Department. Their participation reflects the professional development and employment-related areas covered by the renewed collaboration. Representatives from Asaan Ghar Finance Limited included Aurangzeb Anwar, Head of Risk, Syed Sabah Ali, Head of Marketing, Siddi Farhan Hussain, Relationship Manager, and Abida Jabeen, Senior Manager Corporate.

Professional development remains one of the key areas identified under the renewed partnership. ICMA’s engagement with corporate and financial sector organisations provides opportunities to connect its students and members with industry networks and employment-related initiatives. The presence of the Job Placements and Industrial Linkages Department at the signing also highlights the career-oriented component of the collaboration, alongside the financial and mobility-related aspects of the agreement.

The renewed arrangement also brings financial services into the professional community through a targeted EV financing facility. Rather than limiting the partnership to training or employment initiatives, the agreement combines professional development with a financing option linked to electric mobility. For eligible ICMA students, members and employees, the scheme is intended to provide a structured route toward financing an electric bike while contributing to the broader adoption of alternative transportation options.

The collaboration between ICMA Pakistan and Asaan Ghar Finance Limited reflects a wider connection between professional institutions and financial service providers, where partnerships can cover skills development, employment linkages and access to financial products. With the MoU renewed on September 29, 2026, both organisations will continue their cooperation across professional development and career opportunities, while the EV Bike Financing Scheme adds a practical financial component for the ICMA community.

The participation of senior officials from ICMA and Asaan Ghar Finance Limited at the signing ceremony demonstrates the involvement of multiple departments in the partnership. Professional development, corporate training, job placement, industrial linkages, risk, marketing and relationship management were represented during the event. The renewed MoU therefore covers several areas of institutional cooperation, with the EV financing component providing an additional service for ICMA students, members and employees.
