NIBAF Pakistan to Hold Women in Leadership Training Program in Lahore on September 24-25

The National Institute of Banking and Finance Pakistan (NIBAF) is set to conduct its Women in Leadership (WIL) training program in Lahore on September 24 and 25, 2026. The two-day program has been designed specifically to strengthen the leadership capabilities of women professionals working in the financial sector. The initiative is presented in alignment with the State Bank of Pakistan’s “Banking on Equality” initiative and focuses on supporting greater diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities within the workplace. The training will take place at the NIBAF Pakistan campus in Lahore, with sessions scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both training days.

According to the program details, Women in Leadership is structured as a transformative learning opportunity aimed at helping participants develop the capabilities required to take on leadership responsibilities and navigate professional challenges. Rather than focusing only on conventional classroom-based instruction, the program has been built around Activity-Based Experiential Learning (ABEL). This approach is intended to provide participants with an interactive environment where they can engage with practical exercises and leadership situations while developing skills that can be applied within their professional roles. The program also places emphasis on confidence, decision-making and the mindset required to lead effectively in a dynamic organizational environment.

The training is designed to address several areas associated with professional leadership, including the ability to influence decision-making, manage workplace challenges and strengthen leadership competencies. Participants will be exposed to practical exercises, real-world case studies, self-reflection activities and facilitated discussions as part of the learning process. These elements are intended to give women professionals an opportunity to examine leadership situations from different perspectives and build a stronger understanding of effective leadership practices. The structure of the program also seeks to connect learning with workplace situations, allowing participants to reflect on professional experiences and consider ways to improve their approach to leadership and decision-making.

NIBAF Pakistan’s Women in Leadership program also highlights the broader workplace objectives associated with diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities. The training has been positioned within the context of efforts to strengthen the participation and development of women professionals in the financial sector. By focusing on leadership capabilities, professional confidence and practical decision-making, the program aims to equip participants with skills that can support their progression in today’s organizational environment. The emphasis on experiential learning further distinguishes the program’s structure, as participants are expected to engage with exercises, case studies and discussions rather than relying solely on theoretical instruction.

The training will be held at NIBAF Pakistan in Lahore from September 24 to September 25, 2026. The participation fee is PKR 40,000 plus applicable tax, while the daily training schedule will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The program is therefore structured as a full-day professional development activity across two consecutive days. Its intended audience is women professionals in the financial sector who are seeking to strengthen their leadership capabilities, improve their decision-making approach and develop the confidence and skills needed to address professional challenges. The program’s focus on practical learning provides participants with a structured setting for leadership development.
