The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan Lahore Branch Council is set to organise an online webinar focused on career pathways in U.S. tax consultancy, providing participants with information about professional routes from obtaining a Preparer Tax Identification Number and Annual Filing Season Program credentials to the Enrolled Agent designation.
The webinar, titled “Pathways to U.S. Tax Consultancy | Build a Global Career from Pakistan,” will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The live online session will run from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM and will be conducted through Zoom. The programme is intended for accounting and finance professionals and others interested in developing expertise in U.S. tax compliance and consultancy.
The session will be led by M. Abbas Sandhu, FCMA, CPA (USA), who is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of IMAAR Associates CPA PLLC. He will discuss the professional pathway available to individuals in Pakistan who want to build a career providing U.S. tax-related services and consultancy to clients in international markets.
A key focus of the webinar will be the progression from the Preparer Tax Identification Number and Annual Filing Season Program to the Enrolled Agent designation.
