NIBAF Pakistan is set to conduct a comprehensive hands-on training workshop focused on Power BI for Banking Analytics and Dashboards on August 26, 2026, at its Karachi campus. The one-day programme is designed to provide banking professionals with practical exposure to Power BI and its application in financial and banking analytics. The workshop will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is intended to support professionals seeking to strengthen their ability to work with data, develop analytical dashboards and use business intelligence tools in banking-related activities.
The training programme will be facilitated by Mr. Irfan Bakaly, who received Pakistan’s first Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award in the Excel category. He has more than 20 years of experience in technology training and has worked with various institutions and organisations. His experience in technology-focused training will form a central part of the workshop, with the programme structured around practical learning and the use of Power BI for banking analytics and dashboard development.
The workshop will focus on the application of Power BI within banking and financial environments, where data analysis and dashboard-based reporting are increasingly used to support business activities. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their understanding of tools that can be used to organise, analyse and present banking-related information in a more accessible format. The hands-on format is intended to give participants practical exposure rather than limiting the programme to theoretical discussions.
Irfan Bakaly also runs a YouTube tutorial channel under the name Irfan Wazir Ali, which has more than 525 videos covering technology and related learning content. His background in technology training and extensive experience in Excel and other digital tools will support the workshop’s practical focus. The programme is aimed at professionals who want to build their capabilities in data analysis and dashboard development for banking and financial applications.
The training investment for the workshop is PKR 18,000 plus applicable tax per person. NIBAF Pakistan has set August 25, 2026, as the last date for nominations. Professionals interested in participating can obtain registration and programme details through the designated NIBAF Pakistan email addresses, registration@nibaf.gov.pk and marketing@nibaf.org.pk. Further information is also available through the provided telephone and WhatsApp contact numbers.
The Power BI for Banking Analytics and Dashboards workshop forms part of NIBAF Pakistan’s training activities aimed at developing technology and analytical capabilities among banking professionals. With financial institutions increasingly relying on data for reporting, analysis and business decisions, practical knowledge of business intelligence tools can support professionals working with banking data and digital reporting systems. The August 26 session at the NIBAF Pakistan Karachi campus will provide participants with a dedicated day of hands-on learning focused on Power BI and its use in banking analytics and dashboard development.
